Brief History of SpiderSmart
Founded in 1988 as the Reading and Writing Center, SpiderSmart began as a way to help students in Northern Virginia improve their reading and writing skills. Since then, the program has worked with thousands of students nationwide and proven itself as a valuable enrichment tool. SpiderSmart Learning Centers now offer instruction in reading and writing, math, and SAT preparation around the country. SpiderSmart expanded to include an online component in 1999, making its innovative curriculum available to students worldwide.
SpiderSmart Caters to You
With 10 locations nationwide, you can find a SpiderSmart Learning Center in a city near you. Each center features state-of-the-art computers and a fully stocked library. Knowledgeable teachers are there to help your children excel in reading, writing, math, and SAT prep.
SpiderSmart Online offers all the benefits of the learning center program with the convenience of working from home. Choose from a wide variety of books to read, complete writing assignments, and get personalized feedback from our experienced teachers--all online
Public schools, private schools and even colleges can design their own enrichment programs by enrolling with SpiderSmart's education solutions. Using the SpiderSmart Way, schools can cater to ESL students, supplement literature or history lessons, and provide customized exercises depending on the students' needs.
